Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) is KEPCO's wholly-owned subsidiary which owns and operates Korea’s 21 NPPs along with 27 hydro-electric power plants. Services provided by KHNP – ranked 3rd globally in NPP capacity – range from feasibility studies and technical assistance on plant design modification and improvement to overseas operation of Korean NPPs. KHNP employs roughly 7,600 employees.
